Beschreibung

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, engaging the foremost leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

The Forum's Centre for Energy and Materials (ENMAT) aims to accelerate a sustainable, secure and just energy and materials transition that delivers on future societal needs.

The Centre engages leaders from the public and private sectors to deliver new insights and multistakeholder collaborations at the global, regional and national levels.

Through four interrelated programs the ENMAT drive impact and value for constituents in business, government and civil society.

Why we are Recruiting

A fully decarbonized energy system requires both clean electrification and low carbon fuels.

The global demand for hydrogen is predicted to reach 12 -20% final energy consumption by 2050, with two thirds coming from green (made with clean electricity) and one third coming from blue (made from fossil fuels and using carbon capture) production methods.

The mission of the Accelerating Clean Hydrogen Initiative is to create an environment that allows hydrogen to realise its critical role in the energy transition.

We are hiring a Manager, Transforming Industrial Ecosystems to lead the

Accelerating Clean Hydrogen Initiative

, in particular advance the policy work underway, as well as lead the Forum's hydrogen community with the ambition to accelerate the clean hydrogen economy by 2025. The community brings together clean hydrogen stakeholders from the public and private sectors, and help scale financial solutions and demand, in particular from hard-to-abate sectors including heavy industry and mobility.

The initiative work with stakeholders across industry, policy and finance warrant that the enabling measures required for a clean hydrogen economy are embedded in key geographies, with projects accelerated through final investment decision (FID) and into operations well ahead of 2030.
