An insight to the role

  • Working closely with and reporting to our Global HR Director, you'll partner with our regional European leadership team, supporting and delivering to all HR functions


  • Leadership

  • Support, coach and grow a team of two HR officers
  • Recruitment manage and execute end to end tactical recruitment processes and work alongside local management to drive all recruitment activity
  • Continue to develop and update detailed job descriptions for all inregion roles in liaison with management
  • Foster and develop relationships and partnerships for recruitment purposes with universities, colleges and other education sources


  • Payroll Administration

  • Support the HR / Payroll function with endtoend European payroll activities
  • Employee development & Training
  • Execute the agreed direction on career path and succession planning for employees in all areas of the region, based on the global HR strategy
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual salary and bonus review process


  • Performance management

  • Based on the global performance management system and procedures, drive, assist and coach management on yearround performance management processes and provide constructive feedback and coaching on the quality of performance management activities and outcomes
  • Advise and coach functional management on legal matters and protocols pertaining to performance improvement disciplinary processes


  • HR policies

  • Ensure all contracts, policies and HR systems comply with relevant European legislation & assist and coach line management on the implementation and interpretation of HR policies

  • Proven HR experience in a similar role is essential (at least 5 years ideal)
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Well versed in local European working practices & employment legislation
  • Recognised for achieving results through promoting a collaborative team culture, you are someone highly capable of working under pressure & dealing with difficult situations in a positive manner
  • Attributes including organisation, time management, using your initiative, working with a sense of urgency, flexible, adaptable, attentive to detail & accuracy, able to prioritise & manage expectations all help to ensure success
  • Analytical & numeric skills & previous experience working with HR & Payroll systems (ideally SAGE People)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
