It is an exciting time at Chain IQ and we are looking for a Group Accountant to join our team in Baar, Switzerland.

Our ambition is to further grow our existing team in order to provide the organization with an efficient and state of the art finance process to drive value for our stakeholders.

This role is ideal for dynamic, always improve mind-set and forward-thinking individuals that want to shape the future of our business while moving into a leadership role.

Role Purpose

This role will support the implementation of key value creation initiatives and play a critical role in further evolving our Group Accounting function.

The role reports to our Head Group Accounting and will work closely with stakeholders globally. The role offers the potential to take over line management responsibilities within the next years.

Your responsibilities:

Preparation of the monthly and annual financial closings of the Swiss parent company
Monthly consolidation with LucaNet
Preparation of monthly MIS reporting and adhoc reports for the Group CFO
Close cooperation with all finance teams in the group as well as business partner for the operating units for daytoday business requests
Assist on group treasury, transfer pricing and tax topics
Preparation of the annual consolidated and statutory financial statements (Swiss GAAP FER and local GAAP's)
Collaborate with the group auditor
Shaping and implementing value creation initiatives driven by Finance (e.g., processes, automation, AI/datadriven initiatives)

Your profile:

A successfully completed basic commercial education (or clerk in finance and accounting) and further education or recently achieved experience of the professional certificate in finance and accounting
At least 5 years of experience as an accountant in a head office in an international environment
Big advantage if: experience with LucaNet
Advantage if: SAP FI knowledge, ideally SAP ByD
Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English
Very good knowledge in the use of MS Office
A committed and eager to learn and always improve personality
