A family moving to live in Zug next July 2023 is looking for a long-term Part-Time Mandarin Speaking Governess. The family has a 4 years old girl

Ideal start date:

General Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 20 to 25 hs per week.

Start hour depends on the school's schedule:

Monday and Wednesday: From 3 pm to 22:30 (15hs)
Fridays: From 3:00 pm to 8:00 (5 hs)
Saturdays: From 08:00 am to 2:00 pm (6hs)

Nanny language required:
Mandarin and English. The nanny has to speak Mandarin all the time with the girl and English with the parents.

Children's language:
Russian, Mandarin and English

Conditions:
Sole charge when both parents are working/out of the home

Duties:

Picking up the little girl after kindergarten (3 days a week)
After kindergarten, take the little girl to sports activities (usually one per day)
Take her to the playground if the weather is fine or go home and teach her Mandarin language (reading, writing, songs, poems)
Cooking healthy dinners for the girl or potentially for the whole family (cooking for the family is optional, but cooking for the daughter is a must).
Potentially could be travelling with the family (E.g. for a skiing trip once a year). This would be preagreed in advance, but some flexibility in terms of being able to do this is important for the family.

Requirements:

EU/ Swiss passport or Swiss permit
At least 45 years of experience working as a Nanny-Governess in private families
Strong job references
Fluent in Mandarin and English. The nanny needs to speak Mandarin all the time with the little girl.
Punctual, organised, and creative.
A genuine love for children, patient and kind
It is important that the person can follow the family requirements. The initiative is good but should be preagreed with the parents
Happy to travel.
Able to swim, energetic
In terms of education, ideally, someone with pedagogical experience, Early Childhood Education and First Aid qualified
A driver is not required but would be a plus
