Lightbird is a Swiss-based VC firm backing entrepreneurs at one of the most intense periods of a company's life - the early stage (Pre-Seed/Seed/Seed+).

Tasks
- Sourcing, analyzing and selecting potential deals according to Lightbird's investment strategy
- Supporting the Due Diligence process to come up with investment recommendations
- Conducting market research on a variety of different areas to derive hypotheses on relevant industries
- Elaborating specific topics for our internal knowledge database to share with our portfolio companies
- Supporting the partners in financial transactions and ongoing portfolio management
- Provide active management of portfolio companies and ensure our service level to entrepreneurs is exceptional
- Representing Lightbird in the startup and investor scene, developing your own network in the ecosystem
- Working on internal business development topics like process optimization, branding and much more
Requirements:
The ideal profile brings the following qualifications:
- Work experience: You have at least 2 years of work experience as an Investment Analyst in a venture capital firm that invested Europe-wide. Alternatively, you've built or worked in a founder role at a VC backed company, that at least raised 1 million.
- Education: You have an excellent academic track record and/or a degree from a firstclass university, where you learned to dig deep into different topics and handle a lot of information
- Curious and selfmanaged: You have a curious and flexible mind with a strong passion for technology and innovation and are able to direct your own work in an efficient and effective way
- Good with people: Venture Capital is a people's business thus, you have strong communication skills in English, enjoy approaching people and working with a wide range of different personalities
