Job summary
The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. We perform cutting-edge research in the fields of future technologies, energy and climate, health innovation and fundamentals of nature.We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow in proton therapy research to investigate whether nano-dosimetric quantities can improve our understanding of the clinical effects of protons.
This position is part of a collaborative project between multiple partner organisations, including the University of Zurich and the Cyclotron Centre Bronowice in Krakow.
- PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or other natural sciences
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience in medical physics, proton therapy, mathematical modelling, programming and/or Monte Carlo simulations is advantageous
