Position Overview


As Corporate Account Manager, you are responsible for developing, utilizing and maximising global account penetration and profitable growth for your assigned key account within the respective Siemens divisions, business units and segments.

You act as an interface between the key customer and the Siemens organisation. You are also an advocate for the key customer's interests and demonstrate a long-term commitment to them (5-7 years). The position is (a site-independent role) based in Switzerland. You will cover the account's global reach and will be required to travel internationally in this position.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the corporate key customer with a focus on account analysis and transparency. You generate knowledge on the customer's specific strategy, analyse the customer's markets, positioning and needs, including their ecosystem.
  • Strategic account development: Responsible for the development of a mid
- and long-term business plan and the achievement of the defined key account business targets.

  • Collaboration and team management: Build and lead a key account management team with members from the relevant Siemens divisions to develop business with the key customer and achieve the common goal: profitable growth for Siemens.
  • Relationship management: Build/maintain sustainable global relationships with the appropriate key customer's decision makers on all strategically relevant hierarchical levels, incl. CEO.
  • Vertical market knowledge exchange: Feed the key customer's requirements back to the respective Siemens divisions.
  • Escalation management: Manage customer complaints as a point of escalation.
  • Opportunity management: Identify, develop and drive leads and opportunities as part of account business planning together with the Key Account Management team.
  • Operational planning and execution, including responsibility for the overall account planning, forecasting, reporting of the implementation of the planned targets and strategy.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Significant experience in sales, ideally as a key account manager.
  • Good knowledge of the pharma industry and its challenges and drivers as well as a good understanding of Siemens technology.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking: Determined, enthusiastic and selfmotivated individual with a strong desire to succeed.
  • A sound track record of developing successful customer relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent (intercultural) communicator and listener, as well as good influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Welldeveloped analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Regular international business travel.
