Result of Service
The individual contractor shall contribute to enhance the development of and awareness raising on entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Chief of the Entrepreneurship Section/Enterprise Branch/ DIAE, the individual contractor will perform the following duties:

Assist with the organization of the annual Empretec Directors meeting that will be hosted by Empretec Saudi Arabia and organized jointly by UNCTAD and Empretec Saudi Arabia from 21 to 23 October 2023. In particular, the contractor will prepare, distribute, collect and analyze surveys addressed to the Empretec centres in relation to the Empretec Directors meeting, coordinate and follow-up on the organization of the meeting and assist in the participation of Empretec centres.
In coordination with the hosting institution of Empretec Saudi Arabia and its Empretec centre, assist in the organization of a high-level event on 22 October 2023 and the follow-up thereof in relation to the work of the Empretec centre.
In coordination with the hosting institution of Empretec Saudi Arabia and its Empretec centre, facilitate their participation, as well as their partners, in the World Investment Forum (Abu Dhabi, 16-20 October 2023) and the follow-up for the work of the Empretec centre.
In coordination with Empretec Saudi Arabia, assist in the organization of Empretec training courses, and the development of new Empretec initiatives for the benefit of entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia and the region, including the organization of workshops, events and campaigns as well as short papers and news items.

Qualifications/special skills
Bachelor's degree in economics, public policies, international relations, management or any related field is required.
1 year experience in economic affairs is required.

Languages
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
