The ALEGRIA Restaurante Peruano Wollishofen is expanding and is therefore looking for a motivated chef to manage our growing community.

We present classic traditional Peruvian menus, which we pair with the latest findings in nutritional science.

This means vegetarian, vegan, lactine-free, gluten-free and we use a variety of Peruvian superfoods such as sacha inchik, lucuma and camu camu, as well as a variety of spices such as aji amarillo, achiote or huacatay.

Your main tasks - Preparation of the menu according to the menu plan and special requests - Preparation of the pâtisserie - Professional organisation of the work within the kitchen staff - Responsibility for and assistance with mise en place, cleaning and washing up - Adherence to quality standards, hygiene and work safety guidelines - Stock management of food - Helping to build up the kitchen team and organising the restaurant - Assistance and development of the menu

Your profile - Completed training as a cook with several years of professional experience - Experience in Peruvian cuisine - Experience in vegetarian/vegan cuisine - Passion for Peruvian spices and superfoods - High level of commitment, ability to work under pressure and flexibility - Service orientation and a sense of humour - Initiative and hygiene awareness - You approach people with openness and respect with obvious professional pride - German or Spanish and English an advantage
