• Defining the scope, objectives and outcomes of projects
• Developing project plans, schedules and resource allocation strategies
• Providing support in the analysis of technical achievements
• Building and leading project teams : assigning tasks, setting deadlines and managing team members to ensure effective progress
• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies : monitoring and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Resolving any problems or obstacles that arise during projects : adapting plans and strategies as necessary to keep projects on track
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, including reports, budgets, schedules and other relevant documents
• Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Carrying out postproject evaluations to assess successes, failures and areas for improvement. Closing the project and ensuring a smooth handover or transition

• Engineering or technical training with additional training in business management, a valuable asset
• At least 5 years' proven experience in project management
• Strong leadership skills and effective team management in a matrix organization
• Adept at identifying and solving problems, adapting plans where necessary and finding innovative solutions to keep projects on track
• Skilled at identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize disruption
