The Sustainability team at Siemens Smart Infrastructure plays a vital role in exactly this.

As a Smart Infrastructure-level function reporting to the SI CEO the team has the objective to address strategic opportunities in sustainability.

As a cross-business function the team is focusing on the best approach to driving our sustainability business in grids, buildings and at the grid edge all while driving sustainability in our own operations forward.

This is about fully leveraging opportunities centered around decarbonization, energy efficiency, resource efficiency as well as increased well-being, safety and security of people.


Topic areas include sustainability related enablement of sales and delivery, narrative and positioning as well as support for strategy and portfolio themes.

Furthermore, the team is focused on building up the EU taxonomy assessment and reporting (incl. tools) and helping the business units with implementing the Siemens wide DEGREE program with strong focus on decarbonization. Join us and become a key player in our team


Your new responsibilities

  • You will be an integral part of the sustainability team
  • Your tasks will span from supporting strategic sales enablement projects as well as handson, contentdriven support in daily team operations
  • You will be able to explore both, sustainability in our own operations as well as sustainability as a business opportunity
  • Concrete examples of your tasks include analyzing trends for our vertical market sales organization, supporting with the creation of sustainability trainings, maintaining the sales enablement platform, aggregate and analyze sustainability KPIs, and support in tooling specifications
  • You will work in a fastpaced, interdisciplinary, and diverse environment
  • This will give you an outstanding opportunity to learn & grow exactly what you need to make real what matters

Your past experiences

  • Enrolled at a Swiss University or University of Applied Sciences at least in your 4th semester in the fields of business administration, economics, innovation, or a technologyrelated field
  • The basis for your success is an excellent academic track record
  • Proficiency in dealing with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferably gained first professional experience in a corporate environment or have worked in a similar field (e.g., internship or working student)
  • You have good communication skills, are structured with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • You feel comfortable in multinational environments and virtual team settings
  • You see problems as opportunities, have a growth mindset, challenge the status quo, and permanently strive for outstanding results
