The Position**:
More than a job

The FIFA Museum celebrates and safeguards football heritage and culture to share the magic of the game with the entire world. With exceptional exhibitions, unique original objects, fascinating stories, multimedia and interactive experiences as well as thoughtprovoking cultural and educational programs, the home of football history is a lively and passionate platform for fans and visitors to meet, connect and engage with each other.
To enhance our team, we are looking for a highly motivated, committed and proactive Intern Exhibition & Heritage %) for 6 month to join us by arrangement.
Your responsibilities
Digitization and editing of inventories from the photo collection of the FIFA Museum
Identifying people in images and writing captions for photos
Cataloguing digital collections
Photographing museum events, collection holdings, permanent and special exhibitions on request
Electronically recording and documenting existing objects in the Museum database and possibly new objects
Cleaning of the database according to the previously created structure
Enrichment of the inventory note of the existing objects (description, context, etc.)

These tasks are a good start. Time will change. Take it and shape it.

Your Profile**:

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
Student of photography, museology or documentation
Educacation and/or further training with photo / documents / collections assets archiving system (digital asset manager) and digitization of photo / documents assets and photo edition software (photoshop)
Training on collections management (if possible photographic collections)
Interest in football/football history
Interest in photography/sports photography

- interest in
- and have an appreciation for culturally and historically important objects and their management

Familiar with photo/documents/collections assets archiving systems (Digital Asset Manager software) and digitization of photo/documents assets and photo edition software (Photoshop)
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken), knowledge of any other FIFA language (French and Spanish) would be an asset
Good computer skills, service and process oriented and attention to detail

Our exhibitions and events in the FIFA Museum at Zurich's Enge railway station and abroad show how international football has continually developed, generating enthusiasm, inspiring and connecting people around the world.
With numerous attractions, audiovisual content and varied exhibition areas that are also intended to stimulate reflection, the museum shows the global influence of football. A permanent exhibition area of around 3,000 square metres is available on three levels and comprises more than 1,000 exhibits in an interactive, multimedia world of experience. In addition, the museum offers an exciting cultural program and an educational program for families with children and school classes.
Our FIFA Museum team is just as unique as our exhibitions and events program. Around 80 employees are currently working for the museum. They represent different nationalities, various professional backgrounds and numerous languages. They are united by their shared passion, love and enthusiasm for football and culture.
