- Contribute to the planning and development of new functionality and product features for the hearing solutions domain
- Facilitate understanding and agreement between stakeholders from all involved areas, such as business, engineering, verification and quality
- Write and maintain requirements and specifications of new product features in alignment with stakeholders and adhering to medical regulations and Sonova operating procedures
- Collaborate with fellow Requirements Engineers and Requirements Managers to ensure consistency and compliance across domains and products, including reuse of existing documentation and
- Contribute to the definition, improvement and documentation of our Requirements Engineering practices, processes and tools
- Create and maintain traceability between User-, Product Requirement Specifications, Test Cases and Risks.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary agile development teams and participate in the team rituals
- Engineering degree in technical field, higher technical school or similar education
- Further education or training in Requirements Engineering (such as IREB) is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in engineering, preferably experienced in an industrial (production) environment and experienced with market driven, software-intense device engineering
- Fundamental knowledge in acoustic and audio signal processing
- Audiological experience or experience in UX, Design Thinking or User-centered design is a plus
- Proficient with abstractions and conceptual modelling and solution oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Familiar with lean and agile work methodologies
- Able to collaborate and communicate well across geographical, cultural and language borders
- Assertive and able to influence without hierarchical authority and willing to take on responsibility and ownership
- Strong command in English, German is a plus
