For our client, we are looking for a dynamic
Public Relations Manager with excellent communication skills for a full-time contract in Geneva.

Our client is a Geneva based non-profit foundation dedicated to creating a sustainable future. Their aim is to promote environmental protection and sustainable living practices across the globe.


Your Role and Challenge:


As a Public Relations Manager, your role is to cultivate positive relationships with media, manage communication strategies, and enhance brand reputation.

You will connect with NGOs, government entities, and corporates, building partnerships. Your challenge is to maintain relationships with stakeholders, coordinate logistics, and elevate the foundation's image through impactful PR initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Communicate the purposes and philosophy of the organization to the public.
  • Create plans for NOG branding.
  • Plan, initiate, execute campaigns for public recognition.
  • Connect and build partnerships with other NGO, public entities, governments, corporates, donners and volunteers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders,
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage media presence, and ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Ensure effective communication within the organization, keeping employees informed about key developments and initiatives.

Your Skills & Profile:


  • You hold a University degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Familiar with NGO field, a broad network if NGO is preferred.
  • Strong background in dealing with NGO, government entities and news media.
  • Have the ability to cooperate and initiate partnerships with other NGOs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relation, have track record of successful media presence.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align communication efforts with organizational goals.
  • Fluent in both English and French, the German language is a plus.
