Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Portfolio and Program Management to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis located in Basel.

Our client is focused on supplying life-changing remedies for various illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

For this position, you will be accountable for crossportfolio tools, analysis and datadriven acumens and prediction from an organisation and enterprise perspective, briefings and advice.
Uphold portfolio and project management regulations, standards and tools when needed.
Lead projects from drug discovery through preparing for pivotal trials, facilitating effective progression as agreed with pertinent decisionmakers and governance committees.
Guarantee brilliant portfolio management by placing individual decisions into the context of the wider pipeline.
Offer acumens into the portfolio for senior leaders to lead both near and longterm planning.
You will observe pharma trends and competitive acumens, bring discoveries from any other organisations, prediction, and futurism, recognition and implications of trends and pattern, guide and lag indicators.
Form and uphold project teams, observing team dynamics, form a good rapport and trust, acknowledging concerns, encouraging open conversations within the teams.
Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Influential, deliberation and presentation skills.

Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in a scientific discipline.
Familiarity working within a pharma or biotech drug development organisation is desirable.
Previous involvement in preclinical, clinical regulatory, chemistry manufacturing controls, etc.
At least 15 years of experience in a portfolio and/or project management role assisting crossfunctional teams in a scientific setting or both preferably.
Competent in portfolio and project management strategies and agile techniques, business savviness and management science.
Acquaintance within the implementation of strategy tactics such as systems thinking, decision making & decision quality, critical thinking, strategic foresight, strategic tools such as SWOT, TOWS, PESTLE, BlueOcean etc.
Able to translate method into action.
Uphold expertise on industry trends, competition, and present/developing technologies.
Fluency in the English language.
Willing to travel for business needs up to 10% of the time.
