Your role

Do you like to work on and realize strategic priorities? Are you a strategic and innovative thinker good at conceptualizing ideas as well as problem solving? Are you an expert in managing projects and stakeholders? Do you have a cando attitude always putting clients first?
We're looking for a business strategist to:
shape and execute on strategic priorities bringing the UHNW Solutions Group (USG) forward including collaborating across divisions, with business units, and in line with overall Group priorities

- deliver value add to our UHNW Solutions Group specialist teams as well as internal partners by re-thinking, conceptualizing business ideas and ultimately bringing added value to our clients
- initiate, manage and implement strategic projects on topics relevant for UHNW clients
- act as a "strategic thinking" sounding board; provide strategic perspectives such as competitive intelligence, relevant industry trends etc.
- improve (with cross-functional team members) existing capabilities, methodologies, processes and toolkits
- build and manage effective stakeholder relationships and understand, represent, and advocate for UHNW client needs

Your team

You'll be working in the UHNW Solutions Group Strategy Execution team in Zurich focusing on defining and delivering on the strategic agenda. The UHNW Solutions Group (USG) is a competence center built for clients asking bespoke solutions, tailored advice and specialist coverage at the top end of the private wealth pyramid, complementing our GWM Global Family & Institutional Wealth (GFIW) capabilities. At the USG, we put clients first and our ultimate ambition is always a better outcome for our clients.
We are a motivated and openminded team looking for a colleague that is willing to strive and equally is a team player who wants to be part of a fun working environment

Your expertise
- ideally 4-5 years of experience working as a Business Strategist or in a role which required the above expertise, e.g. management or internal consulting
- strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- self-driven, organized and focused, with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- project management experience and strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable in acting as equal partner in business discussions with colleagues across all seniority levels
- good overall banking knowledge, especially in Wealth Management; UHNW experience and understanding is a plus
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor style to your audience
- strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
- fluent in English, other languages are a plus
