    About the team you are joining


    Safety is aviation's highest priority. By joining IATA Safety Risk and Quality Assurance Team, you will gain an understanding of the aviation industry's unique challenges.

    You will have the opportunity to work with experienced aviation professionals across multiple aviation domains. The Intern, Performance Monitoring and Safety Risk will report to the Manager, Compliance and Performance Monitoring.

    The successful applicant will be part of exciting risk and safety related activities to the benefit of IATA's members.

    You will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of safety risk management, quality assurance, and support the Safety Division with a focus on communication, data intelligence, digital solutions roll out and potential process enhancements.

    What your day would be like

    • Calculate performance metrics using established KPI framework, dashboards and formulas
    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards in support of IATA's safety risk management framework and Quality Assurance metrics
    • Assist in reviewing and proofreading Quality Assurance documentation
    • Support maintenance of SharePoint based platform
    • Coordinate meetings and discussions with internal and external stakeholders
    • Support performance oversight activities with data analytics
    • Support ad-hoc projects and team initiatives (surveys, audits, etc.)

    We would love to hear from you if

    • Recent university graduate with bachelor's degree, or in the process of completing a graduate degree
    • Natural interest about the aviation industry, with a strong interest in airline safety and digital transformation
    • Familiar with data visualization and analysis tools. Proficient in using Power BI, MS Excel, SharePoint and Power Point
    • Sharepoint Power Automate is a strong plus
    • Survey Monkey is a strong plus
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Detail oriented
