Team Lead Development Apparel (all genders, 80-100%)

The development department is the backbone of our product department and essentially responsible for the implementation of our seasonal assortment.

In the new role as Team Lead Development, you will be responsible for leading the development team in the apparel division - one of Mammut's largest and most important business units worldwide.

Do what you love:

Responsibility for developing Mammut products from design idea to bulk production
Ensure together with the Head of Apparel and Design, that the margin targets set in the Design Briefs are met as well as Mammut quality and minimum standards for all categories
Understand future impact & importance of 3D developments
Ensure coordination between prototype testing and comments with product management together with the lead designer as well as guarantee that the procurement department receives timely accurate information for production and planning
Responsible for compliance with technical standards at each level of the product category
Understand GTM process and connection to critical path

Play to your strengths:

Master Degree in fashion, industrial or product design
Minimum of 5 years relevant têxtile engineering experience with a extensive knowledge related to manufacturing processes
Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience
Driven and coordinated attitude with ability to handle intensive periods
Strategic mindset and approach as well as welldeveloped analytical and administrative skills
Good leadership & decision making skills
Independent & meticulous way of working
A strong Teamplayer with a positive and "can do" mindset
Fluent in English (written/spoken), German desirable
Strong knowledge in Microsoft suite and PLM system
