Position Summary
This position is responsible to manage all electrical activities related to the Boudry site. It covers also activities made by the IFM contractor. He is the key contact for all electrical intervention performed internally or with an external contractor.

He ensures the respect of the OIBT directives, manage the COSEC and the compliance of the electrical installations including external controls and audits.


Position Responsibilities
a) General Electrical accountabilities

  • Act as responsible of all electrical activities on the Boudry site.
  • Document and integrate all electrical activities into the CMMS.
  • Create a safe and healthy working environment for maintenance technicians.
  • Develop and train maintenance teams, including providing guidance and onthejob training and transferring skills and knowledge between team members.
b) Manage the Electrical activities

  • Scheduling of all electrical activities, covering Technical Service and the IFM.
  • Management of operational tools.
  • Accountable for spare part management.
  • Ensuring "customer service" focus.
  • Manage the COSEC and ensure the respect of the rules.
c) Ensure the compliance with OIBT and BMS rules

  • Perform selfaudits on installation.
  • Maintain permanent contact with ESTI.
  • Work closely with a Swiss expert control company.
d) Reliability

  • Accountable for the Reliability program on the Boudry site for electrical aspects.
e) Responsibility

  • Take the responsibility of all electrical intervention in accordance with the site Director.

f) EOHSS:

  • Line managers shall provide a safe and healthy work environment for their staff in areas under their control and shall ensure compliance with relevant rules and legislation in those areas.
  • Work closely with EOHSS to evaluate hazards and perform risk analysis.
  • Participate in redaction of safe isolation procedures (LOTO, ECP) for complex electrical systems.
  • Ensure that staff (including short duration and temporary contracts) is properly informed on hazards and trained to act in consequence.
  • Promote safe practices and behaviors, verify that EOHSS rules are implemented and respected.
  • Report immediately all incidents and nearmisses to EOHSS, participate in investigations and identify preventive measures to prevent similar accidents in the future.

Degree/Certification/Licensure

  • CFC electrician
  • Masters in electrical domain (
    « Maîtrise Fédérale » mandatory)

Experience - Responsibility and minimum number of years

  • 10 years' experience in electrical company

Competencies - Knowledge, Skills Abilities

  • Solid knowledge in electricity.
  • Knowledge in GMP regulatory requirements would be a plus.
  • Experience in electrical project and controls.
  • Confident with the OIBT regulation.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Good English level, both spoken and written would be a plus.
  • Selfreliance, and the ability to lead and influence in order to achieve results.
  • Attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to tight deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent organization skills.
