About the team


Our team is the global Reinsurance Technology team, responsible for the technical architecture and engineering of IT solutions for the reinsurance business unit.

The team members are passionate of bringing business needs and technology together. We closely collaborate with other teams and colleagues around the globe to share knowledge and engineer solutions.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility of the architecture, design, and implementation details of our software products and components
  • Make sure technical and design standards are followed by all product development teams
  • Feel the "technology pulse" in the teams and bring back topics that need to be address in a generic way by creating a standard, and/or a standard component for all product development teams
  • Manage and evolve our technology stack
  • Keep up with technology trends and identify promising solutions that meet our requirements
  • Present and sell ideas & architecture to a wider audience

About you
Are you passionate about software development and technology? Are you eager to support business and serve as a value adding force to create an impact? Are you a problem solver?

You should bring the following skills and experiences:

  • Proficient in software development using Java and Spring Boot
  • Profiicent in software development using NodeJS and any major UI framework, such as Angular, React, Svelte, etc.
  • Full stack developer experience a plus with TypeScript, Python, Unix/Windows scripting, etc.
  • Experience in API design and implementation (REST, RPC, SOAP, etc.)
  • Experience in modern software architecture using synchronous, asynchronous integration technologies using RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, and other technologies
  • Strong analytical skills, you tackle problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others
  • Active communicator with business peers, development teams, and senior management
  • Entrepreneurial and able to demonstrate commercial savvy when driving businesstechnology decisions
  • An understanding of insurance/reinsurance business is a plus
