We are currently assisting our client in their search to hire an experienced Construction Mechanical Supervisor (M/F) in Visp.

Main responsibilities:

Monitor and supervise the construction process for Mechanical (Equipment, Skids and Packages) activities
Responsible for Mechanical installations and related activities within the established design, budget, and scheduling guidelines
Coordination, organizing, directing, and participating inspection on the construction site
Coordinate and ensure availability of materials at Site
Review/rectify any issues arising between Contractors
Coordinate daily site activities cross disciplines
Reviewing construction installation files and produce document packs
Participate, coordinate in precommissioning activities related to mechanical activities

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar role or related role with focus on supporting the construction site (engineering, supervision of general contractors, mechanical installations)
Good organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently, ability to work under pressure
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with CAD software and technical data sheet/ drawings, BOO etc,
Excellent communication skills, experienced in coordinating various contractors towards targeted results
Excellent knowledge of English is a must, other languages a plus
