The Role
As a Business Controller for our Efekta Teacher Solutions division located in Zurich, Switzerland, you will have a central role in the Teacher Solutions management team, work in a dynamic international environment with responsibilities such as:

  • Budgeting, forecasting and analyses of financial performance
  • Indepth analyses of financial and operational data
  • Supporting the Efekta product divisions
  • Optimization of the global teacher mix including the contracting in various countries
  • Securing that internal guidelines and policies are followed
  • Spar with, and push back on, the business leaders including constructive discussions on optimal business decisions
  • Managing a small team of controllers

Qualifications

  • Ability to work closely with the Business Unit and its managers, both in finance and operationally
  • Experience with business operations and analysis of data / performance
  • Understanding of and ability to handle staffing and HR / legal related matters with in the various jurisdiction across the world
  • Confidence and ability to present to senior team
  • Experience in operational accounting. Statutory accounting considered a plus
  • Solution oriented, openminded, multitasking, and driven team player
  • Curious, charismatic, analytical, strategic thinker and a doer.
  • Comfortable with a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment
  • Bachelor Degree or Master in Business Administration/ Finance/Economics/Engineering, with 5+ years of experience from an accounting/finance/business role
  • Fluent in English, other languages considered advantageous.
  • EUnationals or you must have the legal right to live and work in the EU & Switzerland
