Job summary
A fully funded Ph.D. position is open in the laboratory of Prof. Amit Pandey at the University of Bern.A Structure Guided approach for designing Inhibitors Targeting Androgen Regulation in Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.
The goal is to develop novel inhibitors for CYP17A1,
a key enzyme in androgen production.
You will work on high-throughput screening and detailed steroid profiling:
- Perform enzymatic screening using radiolabeled substrates.
- Use state-of-the-art Liquid Chromatography-High Resolution Mass Spectrometry.
