The HRTP Function Stream Project Manager, is responsible for stringent program management execution of the HRTP Function Stream.

This stream is part of the program designed to transform HR services delivery for ABB by moving from today's dispersed processes and HCM landscape to an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons for superior user experience for employees, line managers, HR professionals and applicants.

This role is critical to the success of the program and will closely work with the Function Stream lead and other members of the HRTP leadership team to ensure best practices in governance and phase containment.

The role will be involved in the development and implementation of functional processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring, and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality to ensure successful delivery of the Functional Stream program, that consists of more than one project, their objectives and business value delivery.

Without the Program Manager in this group, the business would lack a full business value realization and lack of planning of the overall program and monitoring of the progress.


Your responsibilities

:


  • Supporting the Function leadership team and in particular the Function Stream Lead in managing the Function stream program deliverables endtoend.
  • Driving the tracking and monitoring of the program (e.g. deliverables tracking and monitoring, risk & issue tracking and monitoring, resource planning and monitoring) in close cooperation with the Function Lead.
  • Owning the Function stream portions of the program management document repository and ensuring that all documents are up to date.
  • Supports the Function Lead and Program PMO in defining, implementing, and continuously improving the program management methodology to be used together with external service providers and implementation partners.
  • Supports the Function Lead in all program internal communication activities, prepares the relevant materials for Program, Stream and other meetings.
  • Responsible for managing the process to obtain status reports from all work stream leads, consolidating the outcomes into an overall program status report and program metrics.
  • Provides input and maintains Function portions of program plans and supports the Program Manager in managing all program management and planning activities.
  • Responsible for quality of internal and external program management deliverables defined by the HRTP PMO and Function Lead.
  • Responsible for RAID management (track, maintain, manage and report Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions).
  • Supports the Stream Lead in updating and periodically reviewing the cost forecasting and project resource planning of the program.

Your background

:


  • Graduate/postgraduate degree in Business Administration, HR or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of work experience and knowledge in program management roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multicultural management.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Proven experience of all aspects running multiple projects for deploying a global solution ideally in the HR domain with significant aspects of complex IT implementation, organizational transformation and ambitious value creation target.
  • Structured thinking and strong communication skills to lead a global community of HR business process specialists towards a common training plan and timelines. Ability to structure and convey complex messages, urgency and insights into meaningful action plans.
  • Leadership with vision and ambition. Passion for quality and speed.
  • Creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground. Integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data
  • Collaborative working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions and cultures. Developing others.
