Executive Director, GBDS Head Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access is a senior leader who reports to the Head of GBDS.

They will serve as a member of the GBDS Leadership Team. He/she is accountable for sustained health, growth and continuous improvement of the GBDS organization.

They will develop effective partnership with critical stakeholders across WWHEOR, Value Access and Pricing (VAP) including headquarter and regional Market Access staff, Marketed Products (Non-Oncology) Development teams, and GRSB.


  • Oversees the effective delivery of a very large and diverse book of work, across all BMS Products and late stage pipeline assets with regards to Medical Affairs, Market Access, price negotiations and HTA's.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the effective delivery of a very large and diverse book of work, across BMS Marketed Products (nonOncology) with regards to registrational and nonregistrational data generation, regulatory approvals, markets access, publication and scientific congress support, ISR Review, data mining for identifying important new opportunities, developing responses to scientific requests for information from health care providers, key opinion leaders and HTA's.
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with the many interface GBDS will have with the VAP Organization and with the Marketed Products (nonOncology) Development Teams.
  • Develops, maintain and grows an organization of senior statisticians that provides, statistical consulting and clinical trial and data interpretations expertise.

Requirements:


  • Ph.
D. in Biostatistics or related field with >12 years of experience or related field with >12 years experience in clinical research, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience in observational research, patient registries and consulting with members of Outcomes Research groups
  • Experience in managing teams and developing biostatisticians or other quantitative functions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and lead in a matric organization, building effective relationships and stakeholder engagements
  • Proven abilities in interacting with senior business partners and with governance bodies
  • Strong communication/presentation skills with ability to tailor the message to key stakeholders for effective impact and influence
  • Knowledgeable and experience in the planning and executive research activities for the strategic directions of GBDS in Pharma industry
