Description:

The Bank's entire operations are managed by COO Division and are headed up by the Chief Operating Officer.

It strives to provide both in-house and external clients with a first-rate service to ensure our business operates efficiently and at the best possible cost.

The COO division comprises Operations, Finance, Information Management, Human Resources and Logistics.

COO employees are committed to providing, with professionalism and enthusiasm, an efficient, proactive, high-quality service that meets the needs of clients within the context of the Bank's overall strategy.


Mission:


  • Act as head of Business Continuity unit
  • Define, prepare, organize IT DR tests for headquarters and remote sites
  • Define and deploy the business continuity strategy with support of the continuity team
  • Report risks related to Continuity

Main responsibilities:


Governance & Strategy
Participate in the review/update of Security formal documentation and particularly related to Business Continuity and IT Disater Recovery activities

Participate in the half year steering committees for Continuity

Elaborate the continuity strategy for the year to come


Business Continuity Management Group
Lead the Business Continuity unit and defines the global strategy of the Continuity with the Group Security management

Synchronize periodically with Group BCM Manager to ensure alignment between IT DRP and BC Plan

Act as BCM backup

Participate in the evolution of the BCM central platform. Advanced knowledge of the Sharepoint technology is required.


Ensure the supervision of IT Disaster Recovery activities
Implement the Disaster Recovery Methodology, Policy and the Procedures

Lead of all remediation projects aiming to mitigate IT DR risks (a priority). Project Management skills is a must.


Coordinate the IT DR Activities with the concerned stakeholders
The Business Continuity and Crisis Manager of the UBP Group.

The Information Technology Department generally, in particular:
IT Change

Engineering & Operations - E & O

IT Governance

Strategy & Architecture

Operational Readiness & Quality Assurance

The IT Correspondent and/or the local IT Manager of the entities abroad.


Make sure that Disaster Recovery Plans of the IT Activities exist and are up to date
Identify and define the missions and the responsibilities of the people in charge of the IT Disaster Recovery Plans.

Obtain up to date information on the changes relative to DR information technologies.

Obtain all the changes having an impact on the Disaster Recovery Plan and the critical processes.

proactively identify future risks of product failures and define solutions for addressing these on behalf of the project manager.


Test the IT Disaster Recovery Plans
Coordinate the IT DR test on a yearly basis for all banking entities


Education:


  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • IT Tools: Sharepoint

Experience:


  • Years of experience: 710 : senior
  • Experience required: At least 10years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language:


  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent

Personal skills:


  • Swiss resident: Mandatory
