The Departement of Philosophy of the University of Zurich is host to the theoretical chair led by Prof. Dr. Anne Meylan. Prof. Dr. Meylan specializes in epistemology and the ethics of belief.
Her team is composed of graduate students and postdocs working on topics including:
epistemic rationality, suspension of judgement, inquiry, understanding, epistemic autonomy, and epistemology of the internet.
Your responsibilities:
As student assistant to the theoretical chair of the philosophy department, your responsibilities include:
- Upkeep of the research's group ZegRa
- Attendance the weekly team research kolloquium
- Help with the organisation of congresses, scientific meetings
- Updating the group's website
- Help with administrative tasks
Your profile:
The applicant should be pursuing a bachelor or master in philosophy.
We are looking for someone who:
is highly motivated, has good team spirit, is interested in the research topics of the team (epistemology and the ethics of belief), and has excellent philosophical skills.
Selected applicants will be invited for an interview with Prof. Meylan.
