    Position Summary

    We at Nestlé Research & Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland develop for Nestlé worldwide new products, processes, and packaging concepts in the areas of Dairy and Nutrition.

    As a Product Development Intern, you will be supporting development of projects in the product categories of Powder Creamers.

    A Day in the Life of a Product Development Intern

  • Perform literature and patent search related to the product category
  • Define the areas to explore and the trial plan in collaboration with Nestlé colleagues
  • Plan, prepare and run kitchen trials and/or pilot plant trials
  • Organize raw materials ordering, product analyses including sensory, and release of samples
  • Organize meetings with concerned team, and regular update
  • Document, report and present project results internally to the company
  • What will make you successful

  • Currently studying a Master's Degree in Food Technology or similar
  • Experience and/or strong interest in product development and product ingredients
  • At ease and cooperating well in a team, autonomous, organized, pro-active
  • Good written and oral English communication, presentation and reporting skills.
