CP is specialized in index insurance solutions to mitigate the effects of adverse weather, climate change, and natural catastrophes. CP combine's risk management with data science, while simplifying, digitizing, and automating the risk management process. NCP is a Managing General Agent (
MGA) underwriting parametric NatCat (re)insurance globally. Tropical cyclones, earthquake, and flood perils are covered with our product offering. We cater for small to large enterprises by underwriting through our proprietary technology platform. Business is transacted exclusively via the broker channel.


Role


As the Marketing and Communications Head for the CP Group, your role will be pivotal in driving the marketing and communication strategy and initiatives for our technology driven risk transfer focussed companies.


You will be responsible within the CP Group for developing and executing marketing and communications plans and strategies to promote our products and services within the insurance industry and within the development finance/impact sector, with the ultimate goal of driving customer acquisition, increasing the pools of risk capacity available for deployment, increasing brand awareness, highlighting development impact and achieving revenue targets.


You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, the impact team and customer support, to ensure alignment and deliver impactful marketing campaigns.


Your responsibilities:


  • Marketing and

Communications Strategy:

Develop and implement the overall marketing and communications strategy for the CP Group, aligning it with business goals, values and objectives.


  • Target Markets: Work closely with management and the sales and impact teams to identify target markets, customer segments, and key value propositions to differentiate our offerings.
  • Branding and Positioning: Foster a strong and compelling brand identity across the CP Group, thus our companies within the insurance and development finance/impact spaces. Develop and communicate key messages and marketing materials that resonate with our target audiences, highlighting our unique value proposition.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Support market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Analyze data and insights to refine marketing and communications strategies, target the right customer segments, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Lead Generation and

Customer Acquisition:

Support the sales and impact teams to drive lead generation initiatives to capture new prospects and convert them into customers.


  • Thought Leadership: Establish our company as a thought leader in its target industry sectors. Manage and distribute thought leadership content, including whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and speaking engagements, to showcase our expertise and insights.
  • Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Regularly track, analyze, and report on marketing performance to key stakeholders, making datadriven recommendations for optimization and improvement.

You have:


  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing and communications within the insurance (technology) industry (experience of the development finance/impact sector would also be a positive)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Indepth knowledge of marketing and communications principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry and technology trends impacting it.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communications campaigns across various channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities across a number of jurisdictions.
