Please be aware this opportunity will require Professional level German and French and conversational English language skills.
An exciting opportunity to work independently for a boutique hotel located in the Valais Region.
Responsible for growing revenue from the DACH region by efficient reservations management and growing business and relationships with trade partners.
Responsibilities
- Reactive enquiry management to reservation enquiries and sales leads (response, follow up and conversion for new bookings)
- Response management dealing with questions and queries about the hotel, rates, policies etc.
- Process management of bookings in reservation system, including entering reservations, processing payments / deposits, sending confirmations etc.
- Proactive development of relationships with key travel agents and tour operators in the region
Must Have
- At least 1 years experience in hotel reservations / sales enquires
- Fluent in both German, French and conversational English advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of building relationships with the tourism industry
Desirable experience:
- Fluency in Italian language skills
- Proactive sales management (presentations, converting leads etc)
