Job Purpose


Support the Group Finance function to build a financial accounting and reporting team to deliver internal and external financial reports in a timely and efficient way within a strong environment of financial control.


Key Responsibilities**Support the Deputy Group Financial Controller to:
  • Deliver monthly accounting close and reporting across the IWG group of companies.
  • Deliver all external reporting including Group Annual Report, Half Year report, Interim updates, statutory accounts filing, investor relations reports.
  • Develop the internal financial control environment.
  • Manage the Group Audit driving efficiency and minimizing fees.
  • Manage the Accounting Policies and their implementation across the Group and the interpretation and implementation of new or amended standards.
  • Develop the accounting teams in the global shared service center and in countries to deliver a world class control environment; an efficient record to report process; and timely, accurate, "no surprises" financial reporting.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting for acquisitions, divestments and other adhoc Group projects.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 57 years in finance role, external audit, preferably "Big 4" or experience in an internal audit position expected.
  • Experience of external reporting in a large, blue chip environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of IFRS.
  • Dynamic, handson, proactive, selfstarter.
  • Strong team player.
  • Attention to detail focused.
  • Autonomous.
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
