Assist the team with servicing private banking clients and support the team in fulfilling the day-to-day "Know your client" (KYC) tasks.
This exciting internship will last for a period of 9 months and there is a possibility to be offered a full-time contract at the end of the internship.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general client maintenance assistance, such as:
- opening banking relationships, including KYC and dealing with Legal & Compliance matters
- taking responsibility for day-to-day client administration (e.g. payments, credits, securities administration) and internal projects
- preparing documentation for client meetings
- monitoring progress of tasks and ensure proper follow-up
- Provide financial markets support such as:
- updating clients' portfolios overview, including performance metrics
- supporting Seniors in processing trading orders
- updating quarterly clients presentations (MS Powerpoint) & reports (MS Excel)
- Ensure close cooperation with various departments in carrying out the above activities
- Collaborate in marketing activities of the team, including maintaining prospects lists, writing marketing letters, organising meetings and business trips and ensuring proper follow up
- University degree
- Previous experience in the financial industry is considered a plus
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets and asset allocation
- Fluent in Italian and English (written & spoken), French an asset
- Proficient in MS Office (especially XLS and PowerPoint); good knowledge of Bloomberg; other financial information systems a plus (e.g. MarketMap)
- Good numerical and social skills
- Strong attention to details and proficient communication skills
- Willing to support team on all activities
- Intellectually curious, eager to develop
- Flexible, "cando" and positive attitude
- Reliable, discreet attitude
- Strong organisational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work under pressure
