Overview of Role


Assist the team with servicing private banking clients and support the team in fulfilling the day-to-day "Know your client" (KYC) tasks.

This exciting internship will last for a period of 9 months and there is a possibility to be offered a full-time contract at the end of the internship.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide general client maintenance assistance, such as:
  • opening banking relationships, including KYC and dealing with Legal & Compliance matters
- responding to client requests
- taking responsibility for day-to-day client administration (e.g. payments, credits, securities administration) and internal projects
- preparing documentation for client meetings
- monitoring progress of tasks and ensure proper follow-up

  • Provide financial markets support such as:
  • updating clients' portfolios overview, including performance metrics
- researching on specific companies, sectors and macroeconomics topics
- supporting Seniors in processing trading orders
- updating quarterly clients presentations (MS Powerpoint) & reports (MS Excel)

  • Ensure close cooperation with various departments in carrying out the above activities
  • Collaborate in marketing activities of the team, including maintaining prospects lists, writing marketing letters, organising meetings and business trips and ensuring proper follow up
Education and Qualifications

  • University degree
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Previous experience in the financial industry is considered a plus
  • Knowledge and interest in financial markets and asset allocation
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written & spoken), French an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially XLS and PowerPoint); good knowledge of Bloomberg; other financial information systems a plus (e.g. MarketMap)
