The World Economic Forum is an international organization that unites leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to shape industry, regional, and global agendas, tackle systemic issues, and enhance the world's condition. The Regional Business Team is tasked with building and overseeing the strategic engagement and growth of current and new Forum Partners in various regions. Currently seeking a Partner Lead for India & South Asia, responsible for strengthening strategic relationships with senior executives from Forum Partner companies and fostering new partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships with key executives
- Developing a pipeline of new Forum Partners with tailored outreach strategies
- Understanding Partners' strategies, regional priorities, and industry sectors
- Creating customized engagement plans for Partners and integrating them into relevant Forum activities
- Onboarding Senior Executives into the Forum ecosystem and events
- Monitoring Partner engagement and health, and ensuring quality participation in Forum activities
- Managing Partners' approach and participation in Forum events
To thrive in this role, a Partner Lead should:
- Build relationships with senior executives, tailor engagement plans, and monitor engagement metrics
- Develop and close partnerships to expand the portfolio
- Update Scorecards and maintain a pipeline of new partnership contracts
- Foster a 'One-Forum' approach by collaborating with internal stakeholders
Preferred Requirements and Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in business development or relationship management
- Experience engaging with business leaders, influencing engagement, and building partnership pipelines
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and service orientation
- Knowledge of South Asia's business and political landscape
- Willingness to travel up to 40% for partner visits
