The Research and Physics Team
Research and Physics Team

  • The Research and Physics Team is a multinational team of physicists and engineers working in a selforganized environment. We are researching the basic technologies for future detectors. This includes, for example, new concepts for readout ASICs or new materials for the detection of Xrays or electron beams. We regularly present our results to a specialist audience at international conferences and publish them in scientific journals. We are responsible for the characterization and calibration of our detectors. We have an inhouse Xray and electrons laboratory available for this purpose. We are regularly at synchrotrons and electron microscopy state of the art labs, where we can carry out special measurements to characterize our Xray cameras.
