To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior ICT Architect in MS-SQL.

Activities

Development of the competence area architecture in the area of MS SQL platforms (databases and data warehouse as well as data science environments) with a focus on operations
Gathering of ICT requirements
Definition of ICT architectures and development of ICT standards in cooperation with the Finstar development team
Implementation of MS SQL platform solutions
Close cooperation with the system engineering, the security and development team for the further development of the ICT architecture in migration projects
Optimization of ICT operations in the dimensions of technology, processes, and organization
Participation in projects and independent implementation of work packages
Coordination of partner companies
Creation of system and operating documentation
Technical support in ICT operations for specific problems
Correction of errors and malfunctions in 3rd level support

Profile

Computer science training (FH) with corresponding several years of practical experience
Experience as an ICT architect
Practitioner with a high implementation orientation
Indepth knowledge in the areas of MS SQL including data warehousing and data science
Knowledge in the areas of Microsoft, Citrix, VMware and Veeam, network, server, storage and virtualization is an advantage
Goal orientation and assertiveness
Readiness for partially irregular working hours including oncall service (6 times/year, one week each)
Language skills: German mother tongue / English B2 or very good English / German B
Ability to work in a team, able to communicate, initiative and independent
