Financial Performance Manager

Your Tasks

In this role you will manage, analyse and further improve our technical result processes, P&L reporting and procedures for Actuals, Forecast and 3-years plan.

Your main responsibilities include the following tasks:

Design and development of KPI dashboards for financial performance steering, measurement and reporting for senior management
Analysis of country's and elipsLife's financial performance
Understand variances in the technical result
Support on premium and technical result planning process
Drive quarterly projection process, financial performance reporting process and premium closing process
Enhancement and improvement of financial planning and controlling processes
Support in providing explanations on movements and variances in technical result such as plan vs actuals to the Head of Controlling
Support Finance Team by establishing a process for explanation of variance on plan vs actual
Support the Head of Controlling on any ad hoc tasks and different projects

Your Profile

Bachelor degree (or higher) with a specialization in Finance (Qualification in Controlling or Audit is preferred)
24 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the financial services industry (ideally insurance)
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Handson, openminded, resultoriented and fast learning person, who feels comfortable in an environment fostering and appreciating selfinitiative
Ability to accomplish tasks accurately and strictly within given deadlines and always keeping the big picture in mind
Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a must
Fluent in English and German
