Assistant Manager or Manager - Global Audit Insurance

Your contribution to KPMG

  • Audit consolidated and annual financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards onsite at our clients' premises
  • Examine the international clients' business processes and workflows
  • Hone your technical expertise working on large, complex topics and transactions, including the implementation of IFRS 17/
  • Learn to lead and deliver a "next generation audit" using advanced technology and data & analytics to deliver a "next generation audit"
  • Lead the daytoday business of the audit team in collaboration with the client in order to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Mentor and coach an international, diverse teams on technical accounting, auditing, financial reporting and internal controls topics
  • Play an active role to promote a collaborative environment, team culture and client service mindset among the audit team
  • Build a crossfunctional and crossborder network of experts to share information, successes and best practices across KPMG member firms
This is what makes you successful

  • Master (preferred) or Bachelor Degree (e.g. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration)
- (Swiss) Certified Accountant, CPA or similar professional accreditation

  • 57 years of professional experience with group audit engagements with a focus on financial services or insurance clients is a must
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP & US GAAS or IFRS & ISA is a must


  • Fluent in English

  • French or, German is a plus
  • You are proactive, flexible, team oriented and have a client focus
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to coach/mentor junior/experienced staff
  • Ability to foster crossteam communication
  • Information sharing and collaboration
