At a glance

We are looking for an experienced Automation Project Manager to strengthen our international team in Allschwil.

As part of the "Process Automation" division, the team is responsible for the development of robotic process systems using the latest technology.

In this role, you will be the connection between the customer and our automation teams and guide the project through its milestones.

Programming and commissioning are not part of this job, but technical skills are necessary for the decision-making process. It is important to us that you are an excellent communicator and have great organizational skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordination of automation resources in the project organization
  • Single point of contact for the customer and project teams regarding automation topics
  • Review of customer specification documents and ensuring compliance with automation requirements
  • Tracking and reporting of project status and milestones
  • Creation of basic engineering documents for Automation
  • Creation and review of program tests in the context of a standard and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)conform software qualification
Hardskills

  • Education as engineer FH, HF with specialization in automation or similar
  • Several years of professional experience as an automation engineer
  • Experience leading project teams in an international environment
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is an advantage
  • Business fluent in English. German is an advantage
Softskills

  • Coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a team
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Communicative personality with leadership qualities and persuasiveness
  • High level of personal responsibility
  • Independent way of working
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 15%)
