Main Purpose:

Our trading graduate development programme is designed to support the progression and growth of the future of our commercial talent in China.

It will provide you with a structured series of rotations across our core trading business with roles within operations, deals desk and finance, before spending a year on a commercial trading desk, including analysis, derivatives trading and business development.

This will ensure that after the rotations, you have extensive knowledge and vital skills in a variety of business areas for a successful long-term career with us.

You will start the programme in Geneva, Switzerland, completing your first 2 rotations (16 months), before being permanently relocated to the Shanghai office (the headquarters of Trafigura in China) to complete your 3rd rotation within the core business areas (Deals Desk/Operations/Finance).

Should you display the potential for a commercial role, you will then be given the opportunity to do a 12-month rotation on a trading desk giving you further development opportunities and unrivalled exposure.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

A minimum of a 2:1 / 3.4 GPA (or equivalent) in any field
02 years of postgraduate working experience
Fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin both oral and written
Dynamic and upbeat personality
Ability to take initiatives
Problem solving and analytical thinking
Outstanding communication
A strong willingness to develop a long term career in the Chinese market
