    The Municipality of Blonay - Saint-Légier is looking for a Tree Manager at 80%. Main tasks:- Ensure the good health of the municipal tree population;- Observe and assess the health of trees in order to plan and execute necessary interventions;- Document interventions in an urban context;- Document interventions within the framework of the quality and safety processes for people and property;- Carry out and oversee all types of care necessary for the maintenance and development of the municipal tree population;- Implement techniques for strengthening tree structures as well as retention;- Manage all equipment dedicated to tree management;- Update inventories in various municipal and cantonal databases;- Ensure the implementation of all safety measures in the work environment;- Depending on work needs, tasks in other entities may be required.Requirements:- Federal certificate as a tree care specialist required;- Excellent dendrological knowledge, with a particular emphasis on the plant palette resilient to changes;- Proven experience in managing urban tree populations or equivalent;- Ability to work as part of a team and in an interdisciplinary manner;- Proficient in common tools;- Strong work ethic and developed teamwork skills;- Good physical condition;- Possess a sense of public service and a marked interest in environmental fields;- Having a safety certificate related to personal protective equipment for the field of activity would be an asset;- Holder of a category B driving license and trailer.Start date:As soon as possible or to be agreed upon.
