Department:
Financial Control & Group Reporting - International

Purpose

To deliver accurate and timely financial information for the Swiss entities of GAM


Main Duties & Responsibilities- Lead the Zurich Financial Control team- Monthly financial close accounting and reporting to GAM Group under IFRS- Monthly calculation and reporting of the regulatory capital requirements- Review of cash position, availability and forecast- Administration of the treasury shares- Managing the accounting of WIP projects and its group-wide recharge- Responsible for the execution of the Internal Control Systems (ICS) and their reporting- Prepare stamp duty returns- Prepare financial results for the local management and board.

- Delivery of annual Financial Statements for the Swiss entities under the Swiss code of Obligation (transition from IFRS to Swiss Code of Obligation)- Management of external auditors- Submit quarterly SNB Statistics- Calculation of the corporate taxes- Ad hoc projects

Essential Qualifications & Experience- Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management, Federal Diploma of Higher Education ( Fachfrau / Fachmann im Finanz
- und Rechnungswesen) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligation and IFRS
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Team management experience
  • Regulated entity experience
