For our client we are currently looking for a Project Accounting Specialist to join the local Project Accounting team.

In this role you will be responsible for project accounting activities:

• Ensures correct Cost Breakdown Structure coding is utilized for requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and for internal man-hours booking
• Invoice processing to include detailed reviews, investigating billing issues and identifying overages ensuring contract terms are adhered too
• Ensures timely release of invoices for submission for payment
• Works in coordination w/ Accounts Payable Shared Services Center
• Acts as Unifier System Administrator and provides adequate trainings and support for users
• Assists in month end activities (accruals, vendor reconciliations)

• 35 years of experience in Accounting and P2P. Preferable to also have experience being part of a team cost controlling on large scale projects and project experience in general Highly analytical with strong attention to detail Communicative person able to work both independently and in a teamoriented environment Able to deal with Ambiguity can conform to shifting priorities, and demands Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment Strong written and oral communication skills Familiarity with project management software in the area of cost controlling (Unifier or similar), SAP and Excel
