Your mission at Climeworks is to support the eventual success of our balance of plant development strategy by ensuring consistent progress, tracking and visibility of process plant components through the development and implementation of project management processes enabling adaptability, fact based decision making and effective prioritization.

You maintain an up to date status of all process plant component development projects at all time. Working with the various engineering and system integration leads, you ensure that projects statuses are known, documented and appropriately communicated to all relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
You are responsible for the delivery of certain development projects on agreed scope, budget and time. Working with our internal technical team of leading experts, you coordinate and communicate project scope, identify dependencies, mitigate bottlenecks and understand the critical path to secure timely project delivery.
Alongside the rest of the plant engineering management team, you contribute to the identification, development and implementation of durable innovation management practices appropriate to support Climeworks' long term ambitions.
You partner with our program managers and engineering leads and subcontractors to assure the consistent and stringent plant optimization according to predefined metrics.
You contribute to build up and maintain required lean processes and tools for the plant engineering organization in alignment with the process and tool landscape of the Climeworks Group.
You hold a master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Advanced degrees or qualifications in innovation management are highly desirable.
You are familiar with various technology development frameworks (including TRLs) and innovation processes, and bring firsthand experience in implementing them in a professional setup.
You have strong project management skills, with experience leading small

- to mid-scale R&D projects from concept through prototyping, demonstration to commercialization.

You have excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and building productive relationships with internal and external partners.
You have a deep understanding of the latest advancements, regulatory landscape, and market trends in carbon capture and climate mitigation technologies.
You have demonstrated the ability to innovate, with a portfolio of projects or patents in DAC or related areas preferred.
You are a true leader and role model, a crisp communicator that easily enables fast decisionmaking throughout the company, and you effectively manage and influence stakeholders of multidisciplined professionals.
You are a promoter of open communication and can create a positive culture. You are driven by our scaleup vision and your excellent strategic, organizational and negotiation skills set you apart.
You are fluent in English (German would be a plus) and you are willing and able to travel up to 20%.
