The E2E Excellence team, part of J&J's Supply Chain Excellence group, is recruiting for an
E2E Performance Management Director .

This role will ideally be in Zug Switzerland, or New Jersey USA, although other locations within commutable distance of a sizeable Johnson and Johnson facility may be considered.


The E2E Excellence team are tasked with supporting the operating businesses in both J&J Med Tech and J&J Innovative Medicine, driving excellence in process design, deployment, and execution, primarily in the areas of E2E Performance Management and E2E Supply Chain Planning.


Position Overview:


This leadership position is tasked with establishing and embedding high-performance ways of working in both 'End to End' and 'Functional' Performance Management processes across the Supply Chain.


Responsible for ensuring great 'end outcomes' are achieved through 'excellence in process execution', as opposed to herculean firefighting to achieve a green KPI.


Our internal customers in the business expect expert insights translated into implementable plans that transform their approaches to Performance Management, underpinning and rewarding 'right first time' behaviors and a nurturing a 'culture of courage' to share challenges early and transparently.

Deploying appropriate technology to support the process will be a critical success factor.

This position relies on vision, leadership, commitment, cross functional collaboration, and great change management skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Be an expert. Understand industry leading practices and change management they undertook to achieve. Stay ahead with technologies and process advances. Have clarity on the value proposition of great 'Performance Management'
  • Assess and revise the current J&J Supply Chain Performance Management play book to ensure the prescribed way of working is best possible and incorporates proven analytics and workflow concepts
  • With the segment and cross functional partners engagement, understand current state situation and future state ambitions, generating transformation plans to achieve, including quantification of effort versus reward
  • Deploy change management methods to embed and sustain deployed techniques, including tools like Process and Task Mining
  • Lead assessments, deployments, manage stakeholders and senior leaders alike.
  • Establish appropriate training and innovative ways to keep the practitioners 'current'
  • Engage and support the broader Planning Synchronization and SC Excellence teams in relevant SC improvement programs

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (Master's/PhD) a plus
  • Strong understanding of SCOR-DCM model and preferably Lean and or 6 Sigma certified
  • Minimum of 10 years of business experience in Supply Chain management, operational time in any of the Planning, Make and Deliver disciplines
  • Proven Continuous Improvement credentials
  • Change management and program leadership
  • Proven acumen in the concepts of a wellorchestrated end to end supply chain.
  • Experience with various supply chain processes, planning systems (e.g., SAP, OMP), and performance management tools (e.g., Celonis )
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills, with the ability to mentor and coach teams
  • Adherence to Credobased decisionmaking
