    Job Description

    Administrative management of the project

    • Respect and follow the project contract

    Administrative management of the project

    • Respect and follow the project contract
    • Respond to the demands of the Client within the contract frame to guarantee satisfaction
    • Manage addenda in case of additional demands of the Client
    • Plan the project in terms of deadlines, resources, costs
    • Follow-up the planning and make sure that the deadlines are met
    • Organize, lead and document project meetings
    • Propose and enforce appropriate measures in case of issues
    • Inform the Client about the progress of the project
    • Manage partners and subconsultants
    • Close and archive the project

    Financial management of the project

    • Invoice the services according to the contract
    • Follow-up the cashing of the invoices, prepare the necessary reminders
    • Prepare the monthly WIP and quarterly RAF reports

    Technical management of the project

    • Coordinate the technical options of the project
    • Assure the technical quality of the project
    • Decide the options in case of technical conflict

    Human resources management of the project

    • Plan the suitable resources on the project
    • Support the project team in its work
    • Manage the eventual disputes within the project team

    Quality Management of the project

    • Keep the project file updated
    • Prepare the Quality Plan of the project
    • Organize all the reviews requested by the Quality Management System
    Qualifications
    • Hydropower background and more than 15 years' work experience from power utilities, engineering companies or power sector consulting companies
    • Open mind and enthusiasm about hydropower
    • Higher professional degree in civil engineering (B.Sc. or higher)
    • Degree in Project Management would be a strong asset
    • Preferably experience in management of hydropower projects, incl. experience in client interaction and capability to meet deadlines
    • Experience with international contracting (e.g. FIDIC) as well as EPCM
    • Willingness to travel worldwide
    • Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills
    • Fluency in English.
    • French, German or Italian an asset
