Your role

Turn your passion into your profession and become a Business Risk Manager with focus on "Complex Client Structures" in the area of KYC & AML at UBS we need employees who love their craft and can inspire others with their enthusiasm.
Together we want to find new ways in risk management and protect the bank and its clients even better, without losing sight of the business interest and the relationship between effort and return. To do this, we need not only your critical expertise, but also your ideas and opinions. Our agile way of working creates the right framework.
Your working day starts with a 15minute standup in your team, in which you coordinate and update yourself with your colleagues. Afterwards, you work on tasks (stories) that you have assigned yourself during a regular planning meeting in the team.

These stories cover a broad spectrum:

You assess operational risks of complex client structures in relation to CDB documentation, "KYC" and transaction behavior in controls at both individual client and group level.
Together with the team, you develop and implement risk mitigation measures. These can be, for example, process improvements or training.
You will further develop our control framework, which consists of automated and manual controls.
You will support the client advisors in complex cases and help to make riskbased decisions.

You can look forward to an exciting working day, which you will manage both independently and in close cooperation with your team colleagues, constantly learning from each other.

The focus will be on carrying out controls as well as supporting the frontline staff with their concerns.

Your team

We are an agile team and part of Business Risk Management at UBS Switzerland. Our team is responsible for many KYC & AML aspects related to complex client structures. This starts with the conceptual development, continues with the implementation and ends with the operational execution and further development as well as the training of frontline staff. Working in a home office is possible, our offices are located in Berne, Lausanne, Lugano, St. Gallen and Zurich.

Your expertise

Experience in the financial sector preferably in KYC & AML or risk management is mandatory.
An education in the financial sector is an advantage, but what is most important to us is your passion and interest
You love detail without losing sight of the big picture
You are fluent in written and spoken German and English; knowledge of Italian and French is an advantage.
