Our dedicated team of scientists and clinicians is deeply committed to exploring the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind post-surgical scarring, aiming to enhance patient outcomes and recovery processes.


We are excited to announce the opportunity to join our team for the SNSF-Starting-Grant-funded "MACScar - Macrophage Aggregation Control against Scarring" project.

Your Role:
As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Organize and manage our group's experimental animals to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate sampling, processing, and biobanking of a running human cohort study.
  • Collaborate with team members to support their needs and contribute to overall team success.
  • Depending on your longterm commitment we would love for you to get involved in Microscopy (Confocal, Multiphoton) and/or small animal surgery models.

Your Qualifications:

  • Qualification as laboratory technician OR relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience working with laboratory animals (FELASA) and microscopy experience are a plus.
