Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar project management expertise in a technology/media company.
  • Experience working in an Enterprise Software/SaaS business organization.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in SQL and other databases, scripting, or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in program management in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to selfstart and can work in an unstructured environment.

About the job:


As a Planning and Policy Associate, you will play a critical role in developing the strategy for how Google Cloud operates and makes investment decisions in EMEA.

You will help to define our overall go-to-market strategy, propose where we make new headcount investments, build business plans for new infrastructure projects, analyze the financial viability of different solutions and verticals, and study the market to ensure we stay ahead of macroeconomic trends and our competitors.


In this role, you will be a strategic partner of the executive leadership of Google Cloud EMEA and will build relationships of mutual trust.

You will be in a high-visibility and high-impact role and you will be able to play an important role to shape and guide the investments that we make.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate across several crossfunctional Google teams in order to set and continuously update the overall strategy for Google Cloud in EMEA.
  • Run key business planning processes, including Quota Setting, Territory Planning, and Head Count Assignment, to ensure the business is setup to be successful.
  • Lead a range of adhoc analyses to drive improvements across the business, deepdiving on topics such as business productivity, pipeline generation, and negotiating.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders across the Google Cloud organization, partnering with Business, Support, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.
  • Work with EMEA Leadership to define where we make investments in terms of headcount and other big bets.
