    Job Requirements

    Education

    Master of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).

    Languages

    Italian Fluent, English Fluent, knowledge of any other language may be an asset.

    Softwareknowledge

    Good practical experience in using the following software:

    • Primavera P6 EPPM
    • Microsoft Project
    • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Power Platform)
    • Knowledge of SAP may be an asset.

    Skills

    • Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills
    • Attention to detail and willingness to master project management, planning, and scheduling best practices.
    • Ability to prioritize workloads, problems, and the needs of all members of their multidisciplinary team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
    • Eager to learn.

    Experience

    Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Planner or Project Control engineer.

    Preference will be given to those candidates who have gained the required experience:

    • in an EPC company operating in chemical, petrochemical or oil&gas sectors.
    • On a similar role in the last 2 to 5 years.

In this frame, the company is currently seeking a dynamic Planner to join its Planning and Cost control team and work with a passionate, detail-oriented, and international team on developing and maintaining our projects.

    The main responsibilities are:

    • to contribute to the preparation of the dedicated Project Control Procedures, containing all necessary control instructions to project stakeholders.
    • to coordinate the Junior Project Planning Engineers, if present, ensuring that the activities are carried out according to the Internal and Project dedicated procedures.
    • to prepare detailed project schedules and resource time-distributed budgets, according to the requirements outlined in the relevant procedures.
    • to update on a regular basis the project schedule, providing analysis of the critical activities and schedule deviation/slippage, including proposal and preparation of dedicated recovery plans, when required.
    • to contribute to the implementation of all the necessary tools and reports required to achieve the project purposes and update/issue them on a periodical basis.
    • to support the project team in change management by assuring all the internal and external changes are properly identified and evaluated.
    • to support the section/department in the continuous improvement process by identifying and proposing any suggestion for increasing work efficiency.
