The Junior industrial designer for Service will be part of the Transformer Service Engineering team. The team is part of the Hitachi Energy center of competencies for designing and producing train's on board transformers.

The Service team is taking care of the preventive and corrective maintenance operations on traction transformers for customers (in factory or on-site all over the world).

The main activity of the Junior industrial designer for Service will be to:

Define the bill of material for the repairs with Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) based on original designs or designing some parts or sub-assemblies with Creo (3D CAD).

Do maintenance tasks taking into account the work description from the Service Engineering manager.
Act as the reference contact of the rest of the Service team for Traction transformer on site repairs and basic questions related to Windchill cPLM.
Support on site commissioning for Power Transformers, maintenance and repair for Power or distribution transformers on the Swiss market.

Your desired profile:

You have a diploma in mechanical engineering (e.g.
CFC), or similar university degree.

Some working experience in the field of electro mechanical engineering is an asset but is not mandatory.
You are flexible, interested in repair works and finding solution for customers, whatever the large range of cases and technical aspects that may be involved.
You are fluent in French and able to express yourself and write documentation in English.

German would be a plus.
